Derek Fisher is an award-winning cinematographer and film maker based in LosAngeles. His work has screened all over the world, including; Use Your Oui Oui - ICG Emerging Cinematographer Award (2016), which screened in Toruń, Poland’s Cameraimage, Fear Not - Tallgrass Film Festival, Best Narrative Short (2020), Lupe - LA Film Invasion, Audience Award (2020), and Hypothetical, Goldcoast Film Festival, Chicago as well as Top Indie Film Awards Best Cinematography (2018), to name a few.
Derek’s experience and passion for Cinematography is complimented, also, by his work as a camera operator, as seen on TV shows and Films such as The Killing of Kennith Chamberlain (HBOMax), North of the 10 (BET+), Thunder Force (Netflix), Work in Progress (Showtime), The Thing About Harry (Disney+), and Come As You Are (Samuel Goldwyn Films), among others.
Derek studied Cinematography at Columbia College Chicago.
